Special Announcement!

The Sunday Kids EAST COAST malvern chapter hosted a Fun Color Run in October supporting Sneakers for Soldiers, a nonprofit organization that supplies new sneakers for service members deployed in Imminent Danger Areas and Designated Combat Zones. As a result of the funds raised at the Color Run, 16 pairs of sneakers were given to troops in Somalia!

Via Sneakers for Soldiers, we received a note from the troops! The unit leader extended her time for another nine months, and Sneakers for Soldiers supported her and her new team again. This time, she asked if the shoe came in pink - and it did. A happy color! She wanted to extend the team's gratefulness for the new sneakers and the painted rocks our TSKEC volunteers painted for them.
